Saving The Ice is a compelling documentary that explores the rich history, triumphs, and challenges faced by the legendary Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society.  

 

Established in 1849 for the rescue of people who fell through the ice on Philadelphia’s Schuylkill River, it has provided opportunities for young skaters to achieve their dreams through the years.

 

Scott Hamilton (two-time Olympic Gold Medalist) shares his journey in the film during his time training there prior to his rise to his meteoric rise and the intense pressure, sacrifices, and triumphs he experienced along the way.
